About this deal

Performance is decent. It lasts 8 to 12 hours. I find it works for winter, spring and fall. and can be used for day and night use. Originally I only got about five to 6 hours, but it is more.

Oud Mood Reminiscence Eau de Parfum by Lattafa Perfumes

Haven’t smelt Dior Sauvage Elixir… this to me smells like a more wearable toned down Spicebomb (EDT). Dark purple florals and dry pineapple in the dry-down but mainly smooth warm spices and a tiny amount of SWEET tobacco (not oudy). Nighttime. Age 18+. Slightly more ‘masculine’ leaning if that’s how you define your scents but easily Multisex. Good longevity and decent silage. Short version: Asad is a less heavy, less refined, but way more flexible fragrance than Elixir that is worth giving a test run if you like Elixir. Also, if you don't want to pay for or can't afford Elixir, Asad is literally 95% cheaper.

At a point, it’s asif the sweetness is toned down, and you’re left with a matured, unapologetic dark patchouli and a low dose of Vetiver, mixed with a noticeable woody note. But then again, it becomes sweet.

Performance is very good for such a cheapie. I can still smell it on my skin hours later despite having gone noseblind. Projection is very good. My friend from school told me she could smell it as she was coming down the stairs a few metres behind me even though i had just entered the building. This is AMAZING. It's for when you want to wear Sauvage EDT but to somewhere where you'd have to dress a little bit better like a high end club or a fancy dinner party. I must say, after 2-3 hours the powdery, slightly dry, vanilla dry-down is very reminiscent of what Borouj Perlador does on my skin (... which is a PDM Carlisle clone itself lol). Except this is more drier and powdery, and Perlador takes much more then 2-3 hours to get to that point, as it's also much stronger. Newer formulations of Red Tobacco end up at a similar point in the late dry-down - but again RT is stronger, and this is drier and more powdery. I'm careful not to get overlapping fragrances, yet for the first time I feel like I'm super close to redundant territory. I wish this held the lavender, licorice and spices for longer, which is what sets this apart from the other ones mentioned.I agree with inFidel and others who smell Lamiaceae. He says lavender but I smell methol in the top and pretty strongly. I believe it's the Patchouli with is also in the Lamiaceae family. I really enjoy this. I smell it less in projection but nose to skin it's strong. I'm coming in here with no experience with Dior Sauvage Elixir but of course I have the EDT so I have nothing to compare it to except Dior Sauvage EDT. When it starts to dry down, that’s when I get a shadow of the Sauvage DNA—I feel there’s ambroxan in this fragrance. It’s pretty obvious.

Great sharing ‘lad/ladette/non-binary’ Ibiza/Mykonos/Gran Canaria clubbing type holiday scent… smells expensive so date night friendly too… great GOTH scent as well…. So literally anyone… if you like spice you’ll like this. Nice box, Heavy ‘Meh’ bottle. There’s also something in this, that vaguely and briefly reminds me of the baccarat rouge dna(maybe it’s the ambergris/ambroxan?) The drydown is a bit different from Elixir but the opening smells exactly like elixir, and with probably my favorite looking bottle in my collection (it's simply beautiful) I don't think I have any cons apart from the drydown being less spicy than elixir.

I don't even know if this has what could be called a "dry down" because hours on end this still smells like the mid and you have no choice besides taking a bath and washing your clothes to get that smell off and it's lovely. sapeur1999 I think the majority here, on social media, and on YouTube all agreed that Dior Sauvage elixir is more refined, has unbelievable performance (though not necessarily needed) and Asad isn't completely an identical scent (could be better)... many seem to prefer Asad due to its balanced combination of decent quality, good performance, and affordable pricing... It's quite clear down in the comments! IMHO...LPOME it's not really that bad. Not as repulsive as some of the testimonials here described it to be. I must admit that it is quite strong, the opening reminds me of a brand new nail polish you just opened but more pleasant & natural smelling than the usual harsh chemical assault to the senses. It projects well as it gradually approaches the dry down the stronger the projection gets. Then it goes through the change after 15 to 20 minutes, becomes more medicinal, leathery, slightly harsh & familiar smelling. Kind of reminds me of some similar aspects from more well-known niche medicinal, leather based fragrances like TF Ombre Leather, Amouage Interlude Man or PdM Kuhuyan. But it settles down after 20 to 30 mins to a softer, spicy & suedey accord.

Longevity on Asad is superb. I got 8hrs on my first wearing. Subsequently, I started to get 10hrs+ with a great amount of projection/silage. No issues with longevity here. I would say the fragrance is pleasant and worth the price. I would categorize it as a kind of winter/fall "dumb reach." It is fruity enough to smell fresh and spicy/incense-like enough to be a comfortable cold-weather go-to. Top notes adalah aroma yang pertama kali tercium saat Anda menyemprotkan parfum dan hanya bertahan beberapa saat. Aroma top notes biasanya merupakan aroma floral ataupun buah-buahan.According to the general consensus, this is supposed to be a clone of Dior Sauvage Elixir. I haven’t smelt Sauvage elixir, though, so I’ll review this one as its own thing. The bottle shape and design isn't too bad either especially if you remove the overly gold bow tie ornament. It's has a nice weight to it and it doesn't come across as cheap. If Lattafa changed the gold out for a matte silver or even brushed bronze they'd have a more mainstream product on their hands. Long version: If you collect fragrances, then, no, this does not replace Elixir. However, in cooler weather, someone standing next to you two days in a row will not know the difference if you wore Elixir on day one and Asad on day two. Having tested all the Oud Moods simultaneously, Elixir has nothing in common with the other three, and at no point did I perceive any similarities. The perfume does not excel in projection, which stands at a moderate value. It is pleasant to the people around us and not offensive at all. Instead, the duration is excellent, and I can feel it after many hours. As far as the season is concerned, I am comfortable wearing it on late autumn days and evenings when the first chills of winter are upon us. After the initial dismay, I conclude that Elixir has turned out to be a beautiful fragrance that takes time to understand and then gives pleasant sensations.
