About this deal

Verdict: If as a parent you've been putting in the hours playing Orchard Games in the hope to indoctrinate your children in the joy of gaming then this is the ideal next step. Pull puzzle pieces from the bag and work to put them together to recreate six separate jigsaws. We especially loved: Because it’s divided into chapters it can be played over a few nights. We took it on a weekend away and played two chapters a night and it added a real sense of occasion to the game as well as making it feel more manageable for everyone. Fans of the original Scotland Yard will notice a few small differences here and there - not just in terms of character names but also the number of rounds you get is reduced making for shorter game play and less time to prevaricate. Clipology is a streaming board game with thousands of movie-based trivia questions and video puzzlers. It is game time plus screentime featuring real clips from the world’s best movies and TV shows. From Jurassic Park to Trolls and Dreamworks to Lionsgate, it combines traditional board game play with modern technology. Everyone who plays will need a table, phone, or TV, but Clipology is housed on a cloud-based platform, so there is no app —just put in the access code and start playing! Great for parties and family game night! | Source: Moose Toys Are you a Star at Movie Trivia? Then you'll love Clipology - the streaming party game with 1000s of Trivia questions and video puzzlers.

Items that are not available in store will take 3-5 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to be delivered to your nominated store.

We especially loved: How easy it was to learn and how ingenious some of the tasks were. Meanwhile, if you have little ones who get frustrated at not being able to do things as well as older members of the family this is a brilliant leveller. But once it was working this was a blast all round. The questions were a good mixture of movie trivia, observation and film knowledge and there were a wide range of films chosen from The Goonies and Fast Times at Ridgemont High to the latest Jurassic World film. Verdict: Ravensburger’s Villainous range is a great bridge between more serious European-style board games and child friendly options, with the familiar characters of Disney, Marvel and - now - Star Wars making for a gentle start to more hard-core gaming.

We especially loved: As ever, the game board, cards and pieces were well-made of premium card and just felt of incredibly high quality. The artwork of London was sumptuously designed, with the added benefit that there are so many different routes around the city you can play the game over and over again in different ways.

We especially loved: The wide range of movies covered and the fact it was so easily scalable - while there are four playing pieces you can easily work in teams making it the ultimate party game for film fans.

They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays. Verdict: In the same way that Funko took on collectible figures to give people memorabilia for oft-overlooked things they loved in Pop form, they now seem to be doing the same with their Funko Games imprint and I am absolutely here for it. Also, while we’re not advocating excess festive drinking, we have earmarked a grown-ups only return to this game once the snowglobe gin and Baileys has been busted out and the children have gone to bed. This is a palette cleanser game. If you join regular game nights this is basically what you play at the beginning while waiting for a takeaway to arrive or at the end when people aren’t quite ready to leave but aren’t ready to sit for another hour.A couple of minor quibbles are that it would benefit with a licence for Disney films - although it was nice to see Despicable Me pop up - and while the suggested age is 13 we were considering playing this tweens slightly younger until a random (and slightly wince-inducing) clip from Candyman popped up for one of the questions. The premise: The ultimate movie game for movie buffs, using streamed clips of classic movies of all genres that can be played through your TV or tablet/phone device. Includes 1 x Gameboard, 100 x Trivia Cards, 4 x Category Cards, 4 x Player Tokens, 1 x Number Die, 1 x Category Die, 1 x Connection Guide and 1 x Access Code It’s played speedily and is really fun - although to get the most out of all the references you need to have watched Ted Lasso (in fact you should just do that anyway).

We especially loved: The fun theme and the cute artwork - and the baker's hat that came in the box that the winner could win while celebrating their victory. A lovely game to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, ideal for all ages and with a good dusting of Disney magic on top. This is a worthy addition to the stable and, as big Star Wars geeks, is now our family's preferred flavour of the game. The addition of both original trilogy classic characters as well as ‘new’ villains like Kylo Ren and The Clone Wars’ Asajj Ventress meant it was popular with both the younger and older players at the table. There’s also some great wishlist functionality which means when you see a film you like the look of you can find how to watch the full thing which was a nice touch. This is solidly designed and the puzzle pieces are chunky and fit neatly within a kind of frame that means even unsteady little hands get involved. The one niggle with the absolute littlies? If one of your opponents is looking more worthy of a Hollywood handshake you can sabotage their chances of glory with action cards. This caused a few tears with the smallest gamers at the table, but were soon eased with a piece of snowman shaped shortbread. The mechanic is relatively simple. You have your objective so you travel the sector earning credits to recruit allies, deploy ships and put obstacles in the way of your opponents to thwart them from taking power before you can. Full disclosure: I had actually seen this on the forthcoming Funko list and hinted to my husband that I’d love it for Christmas even before I got to play test it. Let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed and as a big fan of the heart-warming Apple TV show and long-time gamer, if I’d opened it on Christmas Day I would have been thrilled.
